Crochet Skill Levels
Which Pelotin is right for you?
Every Pelotin is labelled with one of three skill levels, so you always know what you're getting into.
First Timer
You have never held a crochet hook, and that's perfect. Simple shapes, a handful of repeatable stitches and lots of reassurance in the video. About 2–3 hours.
Start with: Bruno the Shark, Octave the Octopus, Capucine the Duck or Pistache the Frog.
Getting There
You've finished a Pelotin (or you're feeling brave). A few more pieces to join, a little more shaping, and an even more satisfying result. About 3–4 hours.
Try: Lulu the Turtle, Noisette the Hedgehog or Gaston the Penguin.
Confident
You're comfortable with the basic stitches and fancy a bigger challenge. Confident kits are coming soon – join our newsletter to be the first to know.
Times are an estimate for a first attempt. Take as long as you like – it isn't a race.
